Our Story
All stories begin with big ideas. Our belief at Big Thinkers is that within every child there is the potential and the ideas to change the world and our futures. It is our role as adults and teachers to develop these currently unrealised, and often unknown, hopes and dreams. Our small team of teachers share these aspirations for every child we have the privilege to influence, so during the unprecedented and difficult times of 2020, amongst home learning and social change, Big Thinkers, our big idea, was born.

Whether it is shoes or even footsteps we walk in, the world around us and the voices of its people offer us the best opportunity to learn. Each book we read offers us a different version and view of our existence. Our civilisation has been built on the passing on of knowledge and experience by telling the tales of humanity’s past. Big Thinkers offers a fresh perspective on education, where children can explore the world through words and learn from the stories they tell.
Our goal is for Big Thinkers to become a community of supported readers, learners and future positive world influencers. Our chosen books, resources and activities compliment and extend formal education models and topics with our content team all being experienced, qualified teachers currently working in schools. We want the young people we support to use this opportunity to gain new experiences and go beyond the national curriculum, exploring diverse cultures and perspectives.
